FCE Weekly Catchup -15 November 2016

World AIDS Day, on 1st December, is approaching. This Day is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and commemorate people who have died. Wearing a red ribbon is one simple way to do this. If you would like to pick up your own free red ribbon, visit us at Fife Centre for Equalities, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy KY1 1XT, 01592 645 310.

On Friday 25th November, from 7:30 to 11:30, LinkLiving will host the Lost in Music event at Templehall Community Centre, in Kirkcaldy, with the participation of Spliff Richards & the Snapping Turtles and some very special guests!
Tickets (£10 / £5) are available from LinkLiving, West Bridge Mill, Bridge Street, Kirkcaldy KY1 1TE, 01592 644 048, llfifereception@linkliving.org.uk

On the same night, Friday 25th November, at the Carnegie Conference Centre, in Dunfermline, between 7:30pm and 1:00am, Pink Saltire will host the first Fife Rainbow Gala; a charity FUNdraiser event to celebrate LGBT+ diversity and inclusion. A night of glitz and glamour: you’ll be greeted with a glass of bubbly on arrival, then a fantastic 3-course dinner will be served, while the recipients of the prestigious Rainbow Awards from around the Kingdom are announced . There’ll be raffles, prizes, and fundraising games all in aid of charities based right here in Fife. Free red ribbons for World AIDS Day will be available.
