FCE Weekly Catchup – W/C 5 December 2016

International Migrants Day will be held on Sunday 18th December, from 10:30am to 3:00pm, at Kirkcaldy Galleries, War Memorial Gardens, Abbotshall Road, Kirkcaldy KY1 1YG. There will be two types of workshops on offer: IT skills and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), free lunch, a guided tour of the Kirkcaldy Galleries, games, celebration and socialising activities. Pink Saltire offers a free training workshop at Ore Valley Business Centre, Main Street, Lochgelly, on Thursday 15th December 2016, from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Funded by the 4 Winds Community Trust and designed for people living in the Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly areas, this workshop will cover the basics of the LGBT community in Fife and practical tips for organisations and individuals to support diversity and explain the laws around hate crime and discrimination.
