Fife Centre for Equalities will offer an Inclusive Communication workshop, on Thursday 23 February, from 9:30 to 16:00, at Kinghorn Community Centre, Rossland Place, KinghornKY3 9SS. This is a one-day course, which aims to expand your thinking about inclusive communication as well as to help you develop strategies for tackling communication barriers. You will acquire a better understanding of the ethos and values of inclusive communication; an increased awareness and ability to identify communication barriers; a better knowledge of different types of inclusive communication; confidence in applying inclusive communication in the workplace.
Fairer Fife has commissioned a number of national organisations to develop workshops to help all advice agencies support hard-up families in Fife. Greener Kirkcaldy is organising the Talking About Climate Change workshop, on Wednesday 18 January, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the Adam Smith Theatre, in Kirkcaldy, to discuss the issue of climate change and view some short films from around the world.
