FCE Weekly Catchup – W/C 15 February 2017

We are delighted to announce that we have moved into our new offices at the New Volunteer House. Thanks to FVA and Fife Council for their efficiency and meticulous planning, all projects in the New Volunteer House are fully operational after a very short disruption. FCE has acquired a small training room that can comfortably accommodate 10 people. If you are interested in receiving equality training from us, please do get in touch. More importantly, pop in to our office any time and we’d be happy to chat to you about our latest initiatives.

Fife Cultural Trust is trying to gain an understanding of who goes see film and use their venues, particularly the Adam Smith Theatre. They would like an opportunity to talk to some of you, so in exchange for answering some questions Fife Cultural Trust would like to offer free transport and tickets for you to attend a film screening at the Adam Smith Theatre. Please check their programme for their screenings. For further information, please contact Karen at KarenM.Taylor@onfife.com.

Talking about movies, you might want to see I, Daniel Blake, courtesy of the People’s Assembly, on Wednesday 22 February 2017, 18:30 – 21:30, at Lochgelly Centre, Bank Street, Lochgelly, KY5 9RD. Admission is free, but they are asking people to bring a donation for the local foodbanks. There will be a discussion after the screening and speakers from the PCS and Unite Community.

Thank you for attention.
