Your voice, Your say: Let’s Talk Inequality – 27 Feb 2020

We live in an increasingly unequal world, where the gap between the richest and poorest – the ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’ – is becoming wider. In Scotland inequality is on the rise, and to tackle poverty, we need to start talking about inequality.

We live in an increasingly unequal world, where the gap between the richest and poorest – the ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’ – is becoming wider. In Scotland inequality is on the rise, and to tackle poverty, we need to start talking about inequality.

Oxfam Scotland, in partnership with the Fife Centre for Equalities, will be running a workshop in Kirkcaldy on the 27th of February to ask you:

• What does inequality mean to you?

• How do you feel an unequal society affects you, your community and Scotland?

• Most importantly, what can we do to tackle inequality locally and nationally?

Whether you have experience in discussing inequality or have never spoken out on issues like this before, this will be an inclusive session open to all!

This is part of a bigger project to explore how we can reduce inequality in Scotland, and your valuable views and insights will influence Oxfam’s campaigning priorities ahead of the 2021 Scottish Parliament elections.

11am-1pm (Tea and coffee from 10.30am)
