Let’s Keep Chatting S2E4; this time we are chatting with Morag Colman, Manager of Families First -St Andrews. Families First work with children and young people aged 5-16 years old with additional support needs in rural areas. We discuss how they have been trying to keep the children connected to their friends and not feel isolated in the current situation.

Let’s Keep Chatting S2E4 – Families First with Morag Colman

The group covers the NE Fife area, where many young people live in rural areas. They take referrals from schools, social care, and health boards. Since the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown started, they have mainly been trying to keep connected with the young people as best they can by providing regular zoom meetings and encouraging them to go for walks in small groups socially distanced.
