Welcome to Let’s Keep Chatting S2E5 with David McGrath from Fife Voluntary Action. David is here to discuss Fife Voluntary Action’s new project ‘Your Story. Your Community’. The sense-making project aims to get all communities in Fife to tell their story on how services are working in the communities and how they can make them better. David has said that the stories can be from anyone from individuals to groups within Fife discussing being on furlough, home-schooling to providing help to others and the impact that it has had on their lives.
To tell your story using sensemaker, click on the following link (Collector sensemaker-suite.com).
We also discuss how the ‘Helping Hands’ partnership project was able to provide help to people who were struggling and shielding during lockdown. We discuss how communities can help through telling about their experience of inclusion or the barriers they have faced, and learn from partner organisations working together differently. As well as capacity building FVA has a dedicated volunteer development programme.
