The case of Lee v Ashers Baking Company Ltd and others has again highlight the complexity of applying the Equality Act when both respondent and appellant are protected by the same Act. We believe that it was right for the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland to support Mr Lee because we need cases like this to test the Act. Please do approach FCE if you believe that you have been discriminated against. We will support and guide you to understand your rights under the Equality Act.

From September 2016 – January 2017 the Adult Support & Protection Committee (ASPC) ran two surveys; one on general adult protection information, and another on accessible information.
