Join our Get-Togethers!

Our Get-Togethers aim to bring people from different communities together to discuss what matters to them within their local communities.

We aim to not only host our own Get-Togethers but also connect with local groups and organisations to bring attention to their services and activities.

We also hope to reduce social isolation and make new connections via a range of activities such as arts and crafts, consultations and even just a blether!

Supported by the FCE Companion Support volunteers, we continue to host regular Get-Togethers across Fife.

The ME60+ Project:

Our Get-Togethers are a natural evolution of our Minority Ethnic 60+ (ME60+) Project.

Starting during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the ME60+ Project aimed to support people aged 60+ from minority ethnic communities in Fife.

The project was funded as part of the National Lottery Community Fund.

It focused on a combination of 1-2-1 and group support through get-togethers, advice and guidance, food parcels, electronic device delivery and much more.
