Consultations and Participation: Progressing Equality
Fife Centre for Equalities supports a wide range of consultation and participation opportunities, this is so that individuals and groups are able to influence and contribute to public policy and the planning and delivery of local services.
We engage groups to become involved in consultations, support organisations develop their own consultations and also undertake bespoke consultations on equality themes. We highlight below upcoming consultation that are likely to have an impact on equality and the protected characteristics. Brexit: Impact on Equality – Questionnaire
In the context of Brexit negotiations which started on Monday 19 June 2017, Fife Centre for Equalities is collecting the concerns that communities in Fife may have. Brexit is expected impact particularly students and education providers; workers and employers (including self–employed/sole traders) and also family and relatives of EU nationals.
