Virtual Equality Hustings - 27 April 2021
Fife Centre for Equalities hosted a Virtual Equality Hustings for Fife candidates on 27 April 2021.
The Hustings took place on Microsoft Teams and was an opportunity for constituents to ask questions about the themes or topics that matter to them to candidates standing for the Scottish Parliamentary Elections 2021.
The live audience was selected so as to be diverse and distributed across all protected characteristics and the political spectrum. Candidates who took part in the hustings were:
- Neale Hanvey – Alba Party
- Linda Holt – Alliance for Unity
- Martin Keatings – Independent Candidate
- Bruce Henderson – Renew Scotland
- Kathleen Leslie – Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party
- Julie MacDougall – Scottish Labour Party
- Alan Beal – Scottish Liberal Democrats
- David Torrance – Scottish National Party
The event was chaired by one of our volunteers, Sarah-Jayne Duncan. FCE would like to thank all candidates and audience members for taking part and sharing their thoughts on the we topics discussed.
